CITREPORE™

CITREPORE is a synthetic porous sponge-like bone void graft material consisting of CITREGEN®, Acuitive Technologies’ patented citrate-based polymer/bioceramic composite material, whose bioactive properties promote bony ingrowth at the implant site. CITREPORE has been designed to promote bone healing by releasing molecules essential to promote bone formation. The sponge will act as an osteoconductive scaffold for the growth of new bone with controlled resorption to prevent chronic inflammation. The CITREPORE Sponge is offered in several sizes and shapes to suit anatomic location and procedures.
